On May 19, 2023, HPRO's Board of Directors elected Dan Faulkner, Registrar of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons as Chair. Elinor Larney, Registrar of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, will continue to serve on HPRO's Management Committee as Past Chair. Maureen Boon, Registrar & CEO of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, was elected Vice-Chair, and Shenda Tanchak, Registrar of the Ontario College of Pharmacists, was elected Treasurer. Additionally, Joe Jamieson, Registrar of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, and Judy Rigby, Registrar of the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario and lead of HPRO's Anti-Racism in Health Regulation Project, were elected as members of the Management Committee.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Beaverton, Ontario – November 25, 2022 – The Health Profession Regulators of Ontario (HPRO) and its members, Ontario’s health regulatory Colleges, are taking action to support anti-racism initiatives in health profession regulation. To support these initiatives, HPRO is excited to announce that it was approved for an $88,000 grant from the Government of Canada’s Community Support, Multiculturalism, and Anti-Racism Initiatives Program.
